SATORP’s Strategic Expansion
We continue to expand our excellence with a vision of becoming the leading performer in the refining and petrochemicals industry in the Middle East and Asia. With the expertise of our founding shareholders, we are venturing into the petrochemicals sector, uncovering new oppor-tunities alongside our existing business. The petrochemical complex will operate sustainably using technology to recycle plastic and re-duce CO2 emissions. It will integrate downstream operations with our refinery for improved synergy and feature a mixed-feed cracker producing 1.65 million tons of ethylene annually. Ad-ditionally, it will include two polyethylene units with TotalEnergies' Advanced Dual Loop Technology, a butadiene extraction unit, and units for aromatics and other derivatives.
